I was so fortunate when searching for daycares, my first attempt I called and Shawnessy daycare and they had availability! I immediately arranged a viewing and felt comfortable as a first time mom leaving my child in someone else care for the first time. Typical separation anxiety was expected on both ends but both my child and I grew! Before I knew it, it became more of a struggle picking my son up after daycare rather then dropping him off. Now I have both my children as Shawnessey daycare and am so thankful for such a close community of caregivers. A family! They take care of my children as if they were their own. I am incredibly blessed to have my children raised with the same caregivers since they were babies!

I remember the day we started to find a suitable daycare for our son. After evaluating 5 to 6 daycares in our community, we didn't hesitate to register our son at Shawanessy daycare by that time. After one and a half year or so, we consider it the best choice we have made for our son to register him at Shawanessy day care. What we like most about the daycare can be quickly summed as follows. 1. The owner of the daycare spends her time day by day in the premise unlike the other daycares which tells that the service standard is the best eachday. 2. The staffs are very friendly, smiley, and we enjoy a family like relationship. 3. Our son calls it, " Shawanessy home". It has become his second home, and our heart is rest assured on them. They are trusted.
4. Children are exposed to different kinds of activities throughout the year and have got the opportunity to visit different parks, zoos, entertainment places, etc. Children are learning Canadian values and manners. 5. The payment fee is flexible and considers the family situation of each child. In this struggling economy of Calgary, they are so helpful and are always with us and they tell us our son shouldn't be absent from school because of financial struggle. These are one of the numerous positive feedbacks we can give but all in all Shawanessy is the best daycare in our community.
